ECD UPDATE - Monday 8th FebECD remains out of commission today, Monday 8th Feb.
All Practices at ECD are Cancelled today. We are working with the town to secure time for all swimmers to train on Tuesday sometime between 4-6pm, so please make the neccessary arrangements to ensure your athletes can make it to a Tuesay Practice at MLC.

Central Region ChampionshipsCongratulations to all our swimmers who competed this weekend at the Regional Champs. Many of the athletes put in their best efforts and were rewarded with Personal Best Times. The Gold group had their best meet of the season with a 51% PB rate. Bronze and Silver also dazzled with PB rates of 67% and 71% respectively.
MMST were represented in 15 finals over the course of the weekend with medals going to Sarah Gillard (Gold, Silver and 2 Bronze), Colin Scarffe (Gold), Scott Davis (Gold), Grete Cox (Silver) and Jack Whitford (Bronze). Sarah also broke two long standing club records in the 400 Free and the 200 Fly!

Mini's and LTS RegistrationOnline Learn-to-Swim and Mini-Marlin Session 3 Registration now available - limited spots available. Please click on the registration link to sign your child up for the upcoming session -Feb. 16-April 30. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring confirmation letter, payment and proof of age to the Milton Leisure Centre on Saturday, January 30 between 12:30pm-2:00pm.

Milton Community Fund
MMST would like to acknowledge the support they have received from the Milton Community Fund. Funds received from the Milton Community Fund were used to purchase a touch pad holder, timing sytem upgrades and for coach training.
The touch pad holder allows for efficient, safe storage of the touch pads when they are not being used. Timing system upgrades will ensure more accurate times for swimmers and more effiecient swim meets. Coach's qualifications and knowledge has been, and will continue to be upgraded using the funds received.

The Milton Marlin Swim Team is a dynamic youth sports group located in Milton, Ontario. The Team was formed as a patented not-for-profit competitive swim team in 1990. Parent volunteers provide the team’s administration, paid professional coaches lead the Mini, Novice and Competitive swimmers. The environment is truly supportive, with each swimmer encouraged to achieve their best while being a part of a fantastic team environment.
MMST provides a full range of instruction and training in the "sport of swimming", with programs geared primarily to girls and boys aged 7 through 18. Our coaches are members of CSCTA (Canadian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association) and are NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) trained.
